The 33rd European Congress on Obesity (ECO2026)—the premier scientific meeting dedicated to obesity research, clinical care, prevention, and policy—will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from 12 to 15 May 2026.
Organised under the auspices of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), ECO2026 promises an interdisciplinary programme bringing together clinicians, researchers, policymakers, public health professionals, early-career scientists, and individuals living with obesity. Delegates will engage in cutting-edge lectures, symposia, poster sessions, and industry symposia that highlight innovations in basic, clinical, and implementation science.
The Congress serves as a vital forum for sharing evidence on obesity pathophysiology, treatment strategies, prevention frameworks, and health policy. Researchers from around the world are invited to submit abstracts across all areas of obesity science and clinical practice. While the official deadline for abstract submissions has passed, a late-breaking abstracts deadline of 27 February 2026 offers an additional opportunity for contributors.
Participants can also access detailed information on registration, scientific programmes, accommodation, visas, and the mobile app through the official ECO2026 channels.
